In La Palma, waste is sorted. There are containers for glass (green), plastic (yellow or beige), and paper and cardboard (gray or blue) on larger streets. You can take separated waste with you when you go on an excursion or shopping there. Residual waste belongs in the black bins at the entrance gate or at the guest parking lot.
Our water comes from the mountains and is filtered and purified in our waterworks. You can drink it directly from the tap. We regularly have samples tested for bacteria.
